Aim-listed Edenville Energy’s Rukwa project, in Tanzania, has completed construction of the project’s wash plant.
According to the company, the plant is undergoing final commissioning and testing, and is expected to start producing washed coal for sale next week.
“The construction team has worked hard in challenging conditions to get the wash plant operational and this has now been achieved”.
“We are now ready to start producing washed coal immediately following final commissioning,” said Rufus Short, Chief Executive Officer of Edenville Energy.
Short said the intention is to process several thousand tons of run-of-mine coal in October to produce a range of washed coal products for delivery to several end-users.
