Aldoro Resources is sharpening the geological understanding of its Kameelburg Project in Namibia, with new assay results confirming a distinct zonation pattern of high-grade niobium at the margins of the carbonatite intrusion and rare earth enrichment toward the core, an architecture that materially enhances the project’s development potential.
Results from diamond drill hole DD003B validate the company’s geological model and support growing confidence in the scale, continuity and internal structure of the mineralised system ahead of an updated mineral resource estimate. The hole intersected a broad 169.7-metre mineralised zone grading 0.81% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO), 3.21% strontium carbonate and 0.43% niobium oxide, reinforcing Kameelburg’s multi-commodity profile across rare earths, niobium and strontium.
The results confirm a clear and predictable geological framework. Higher-grade niobium mineralisation is concentrated along the outer margins of the intrusion, while rare earth elements become progressively enriched toward the central core. This zonation improves geological confidence and provides a more defined basis for future resource modelling and potential mine planning. Within the broader intercept, multiple discrete high-grade niobium zones were identified, including 8 metres grading 1.23% niobium oxide, alongside additional consistent intervals that reinforce grade continuity along the margin structures.
As drilling moved toward the core of the system, mineralisation transitioned into higher-grade rare earth zones, including 5 metres grading 2.94% TREO and 7.64% strontium carbonate, underscoring the internal metal distribution profile of the carbonatite. The confirmation of this margin-to-core zonation significantly strengthens the geological interpretation underpinning the upcoming mineral resource estimate, which will incorporate all Phase II drilling results. The update remains on track for release later this month, pending receipt of remaining assays.
Beyond niobium and rare earths, the consistent occurrence of strontium carbonate above 3% across broad intervals highlights additional potential by-product value, further enhancing the project’s economic optionality. With Phase II drilling now complete, Aldoro is transitioning toward a more advanced stage of resource definition. The latest results reduce geological uncertainty and support Kameelburg’s evolution from exploration asset to a more clearly defined critical minerals project.
Global demand for rare earths and strategic metals continues to strengthen, driven by electrification, clean energy systems and advanced manufacturing. Deposits with clear grade distribution and geological predictability are increasingly favoured by investors. Kameelburg’s emerging profile, defined by high-grade niobium along its margins and a rare earth–rich core, positions it as a structurally coherent system with growing relevance in the critical minerals landscape.
